Gobble Gobble!

Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!

See you next week!

At approximately 3:30 this morning...

Three things are fairly ironic about this:

1) When he started singing, it was as clear as can be: "I wuv you, a bushell an wa peck, a bushell and wa peck an a hug aroun th' neck...." As soon as I grabbed the camera, he stopped singing so clearly and started blending the words together. Stinker. He stopped "performing" when the camera came out, just like he does when he can actually SEE the camera!

2) The words of the song continue, "a hug around the neck and a barrel and a heap, a barrel and a heap and I'm talking in my sleep..." :)

3) This isn't a song we sing around the house on a regular basis. The only reason he knows it is because it is on a CD he listens to at MaMa's house. Strangely enough, after he went to bed last night, this song came into my mind. I didn't mention it to K, and Moses was already in bed. I didn't sing it out loud. And then Moses bursts out with it at 3:30 in the morning!

Oh, I love him so much. It was all I could do not to rush in and snuggle my sweet baby.

We've been telling Moses that this is Uncle Jarrett & Aunt Emily...

... on the streets of NYC.

You guys sing and dance as you walk along, right?

For those of you that don't know them:

Know what this is a picture of?

Any guesses?

Answer: A sure-fire indication that your son has been trying to change his own diaper.

Let me lay out the scene. I was working today and called K to ask him a question. I didn't know it, but K was downstairs and couldn't hear me. Moses was in another room watching Veggie Tales. Being the helpful little guy that he is, he went running through the house yelling K's name. Not "Daddy!," but his real name. Made all the more humorous because he pronounced it with a "T" instead of a "K."

When Moses couldn't find K, he came running into the room where I was. With his pajama shirt on. And nothing else....

I then proceeded out to the living room, where I found the scene above. Oh, Moses. How I love you.

Okay, one more question. Do you know what this is?

Answer: This is Moses watching Veggie Tales, of course. The story of Flibber-o-loo. Duh.

Go to www.fightfoca.com and sign the petition

Just a short note today-- please go to www.fightfoca.com, browse the webiste, and sign the petition.

FOCA stands for the Freedom of Choice Act-- a federal law which will wipe out all state and federal abortion regulations, including the partial birth abortion ban, any safety regulations of abortion clinics, and requirements that women receive information about the abortion procedure before undergoing the procedure. In other words, it will wipe out laws that have been enacted for the protection of women. Laws that have had the effect of reducing abortion over the last 20 years. Obama has vowed to sign the legislation, and with Democratic gains in Congress, it appears likely to come before him.

So look at the website, and sign the petition to fight this evil legislation!

Just when you think life can't get much more stressful...

...contractions start. FOUR months early....

The doctor says it is probably related to stress. I fully agree! SO, I have been resting and drinking LOTS of water since Thursday (I am about to float away; which creates a dilemma-- if I am to be resting AND drinking lots of water, does the getting up 45 times a day to use the restroom REALLY qualify as RESTING?!).

So far, I have gone over 24 hours without contractions, and I am trying to keep it that way. In the meantime, Moses is still just as "busy" as normal:

Yes, that is aluminum foil. For MaMa, PaPa, Aunt Emily and Uncle Jarrett: if you buy him his own roll for Christmas, it will be a hit.

It's Official: The Girls have tied it, 2 to 2!!!

I am no longer outnumbered! That's right-- it's a GIRL!!!
I would like to officially introduce Tzofia Zerachia (we will call her "ZuZu"):

They also did a couple 3-D pictures, but it was a little too early to see much. Here is a profile pic and a profile/face with arm/fist:

I can't explain how ECSTATIC we are! We actually have one of each! Here are the specifics on her name: Both the first and middle names are Hebrew. Tzofia (like sophia, but with a "z" sound) means "scout of Jehovah," and Zerachia (zer-a-KY-ah) means "the rising light of the Lord."

We are thanking the Lord for the amazing opportunity to raise a son and a daughter!
