What a difference a year makes...

Today was the first day of preschool-- Moses is in the 3-4 class this year. Watching the new kids arrive, we were SO GLAD that we put him in the 2-year-old class last year. He was so excited to go to school, was waving at all the kids as he walked in, and... he didn't even say good-bye! His teachers made him come back out of class and say bye. What a big boy!

Just to refresh your memory, this was last year:

Crying after we made him put clothes on

A little happier here because we let him wear his pajama shirt

This one still breaks my heart!

And this year:

Showing me his cubbie with his name

Walking in without even saying good-bye!

Quickly signing "I love you" after his teachers made him say good-bye

I had a hard time with it this morning-- he is moving in to boyhood and I'm not sure I like it. As K put it, last year we left Moses there crying- this year I left crying!

Oh my word . . . he looks so big!

You're so lucky to have a preschool nearby with a 2-3 year program. We don't have any. And I've checked . . .
