Just a little announcement...

Or maybe not to little...

I have been remiss in not updating the blog lately. Part of it is not having the time to do so; part if it is pure laziness. I am friends with so many of you on facebook, that it is just so much easier to stick a quick status update in there and keep moving.

But anyway, back to the announcement!

K and I are proud to announce that Smith Baby #3 is on the way! Due date is currently October 4, but I will not likely make it that long. I am thinking mid to late September.

I've been surprised at how many people are so wrapped up in knowing whether it was "planned" or not. As if 1) it makes a difference, and 2) it is any of their business, anyway! :)

Let's just say we are very excited and, after a month of complications and not knowing whether the baby was going to make it, we are so very thankful that God is already watching over this little one!

Moses knew the secret for about 3 weeks before we told anyone, and he kept it a secret! I was so proud of him! But now that it is public knowledge, he is telling EVERYONE that he is going to have a "new baby sister." Hmmmmmm... I guess sometimes children know things that adults don't know, but I don't think this is necessarily one of them. We ask him whether it would be okay if it is a brother; usually he answers, "I think so."

It is going to be a busy week- ZuZu turns 1 on Saturday!- but I am going to TRY to make sure I blog this very important week. I can't believe she is 1 already! God really knew what He was doing. If I wasn't pregnant right now, I would probably be crying all week that my baby is growing up! I'm still a little choked up about it, but it is so nice to know my baby days aren't over yet!

Congratulations! I can't believe ZuZu is one already... have a fun week and don't stress too much! (By the way--we always got asked if Macey was planned... Of course she was planned-God Plans EVERYTHING!)

Hmmm . . . I can't remember, but sorry if I was one who asked if it was a surprise or not. I guess having been to both extremes of planning and being surprised, I'm always curious. :)

But congratulations again! I'm so, so excited for you guys.
