I admit it was a little bit of a struggle to get him to sign all 18 Valentines for his class. But M&M bribes work wonders!

But he LOVED decorating his Superman valentine box, with a 3D Superman on top.

He had insisted on Superman valentines. Of course, you can't just run to Walmart for those; I had to find them on ebay. Yep. I'm THAT mom. And proud of it...
Anyway, his class party was on Thursday. They do the valentines before the moms arrive, but I got a glimpse in the room:

And, of course, I have to take a picture while they pray for the snack (this time Dairy Queen cake- yum!), because it is just SO DARN CUTE.

After a fun valentine craft, they played a game. Everyone won a prize, but Moses was next to last in winning one (he's definitely my son when it comes to the "losing games" department). But he was MUCH more into the game than in winning. He loved dancing and clapping in a circle:

And when he did win his ring pop, he exclaimed, "LOOK! A sucker! I got a sucker!" As if it were the best prize in the world- and as if 16 other kids hadn't already gotten one. :) What a sweetie!
But I am wondering if Moses had a special "Valentine"- or two- of his own this year. There are twin girls in his class, one of them pictured closely here with Moses:

The class was supposed to sign their names to 18 valentines, but not put other children's names on the cards (to ease the process of dropping them in the boxes, I guess). But there was a big valentine inside Moses' box- specifically addressed to him- from the twins. With a $5 gift card to McDonalds inside! I would LOVE to know if they did that for all the kids- but I do know they seem to like Moses quite a bit!
Tomorrow we will continue our tradition of giving our children each a book on Valentine's day., and eating a heart-shaped pizza. It's one of the best traditions we've started!

oh, MaMa loves that boY!
to anyone reading this ---
really, he is the sweetest little boy! gentle, sweet and precious! xoxoxoxoxo!
Tell those twins to watch out - he might be spoken for already. ;-) Although Kaitlyn did propose to one of the boys at daycare recently. I guess she needs some more time to make up her mind. Ha! (Not to mention that she and Moses have never met... small detail, right?)
We also got her a book for V-day - have you seen the Fancy Nancy books? They are so cute, and perfect for a girl who is girly and likes to make things fancy. Kaitlyn now has two of them and they are her requested bedtime reading every night!
hmmm, reading Erin's entry, I am thinking - ZuZu will not be into 'Fancy Nancy'. "Great Moments in Nascar" might be more to her liking.
but until she can say "MaMa, I don't want to dress girly"....she's getting girly.
so sad....videos haven't worked for days and days.... : (
none of them.
by the way...I want a pic of him praying - to actually like hold it in my hands....and then I want a piece of the cake in the background.
