For well over a year now, K and Moses have been playing the traditional father-son game: K says, "Moses, give me five," and Moses proceeds to smack K's hand.
The other day, Moses was looking at an alphabet book. Under the "H," there is a picture of a hand, facing palm-out. Moses has been pointing at it and saying, "Pie! Pie!" At first I was confused. He knows his letter H. He knows where his hands and fingers are. What does "pie" have to do with it?
Then K said to Moses, "Moses, give me pie"... and Moses smacked K's hand. Apparently, for months now Moses has been thinking we were asking him for pie.
Makes sense to me. I'd rather have "pie" than "five" any day. :)
